I was really excited about this month’s Peaches & Petals theme, especially since Jonathan and I are starting to plan a beach vacation for the fall! I am excited to get some beachy items to help me prepare for our trip!

The information card is a high-gloss postcard that briefly describes all of the items inside. I love the graphic this month! (Starfish are the coolest.)

Swimsuit Coverup | $15.00?
I am really digging the beautiful Aztec-inspired design. The bold prints and sheer fabric make this a fun, lightweight coverup that feels great. It is a “one-size-fits-most” type deal with 3/4 length sleeves and an open front (no ties or buttons). I think it would look best with a solid colored bathing suit or romper underneath. Which reminds me… I guess I’ll need to buy a bathing suit this year if we’re going to the beach…
Jaclyn Smith Women’s Sunglasses | $9.74
These sunglasses are perfect for wearing at the beach! I love black plastic frames and am happy that these lenses have 100% UV protection. I am glad to have an extra pair of sunglasses to take on vacation so I don’t have to worry about losing them or having the lenses scratch in the sand. This is a win!
Slant Collections 18 oz. Acrylic Iced Tea Tumbler “Flip Flops” | $15.99
It’s wine time! Okay, I know this is technically a tea tumbler but this is the perfect wine vessel for sipping wine (through a straw like a classy lady). I love the cute flip flops and that the lid is secured with a nice rubber-ish seal to keep spills to a minimum.
The straw even has a nice bellbottom to keep it from sliding all the way out of the lid! I will be putting this to good use over the summer.
Starfish Project Francina Gunmetal Swirl Teardrop Earrings | $15.99
These earrings are really my style and will look great dressed up or down. I love the gunmetal coloration and am glad to receive jewelry that I will use myself rather than for gifting!

Alterna Stylist Summer Ocean Waves Hair Spray (Travel Size) | $5.00?
This is a styling spray that is designed to give a beachy-look to hair by boosting volume and texture. Since my hair is completely straight and thick (like horsehair), I will be finding a new home for this spray! I like the concept and would completely try this out if my hair was even remotely wavy.
Floating Circus Beach Bag Tags | $12.00
This was my “Beachy Surprise” item! I had no idea what these were when I first pulled this out of the box, but am actually really excited about these tags! These two wooden bag tags are a bit larger than playing cards and fasten with leather buckle straps.
They look really cute and I am looking forward to using them on our beach totes and weekender luggage! The tags feel durable and hopefully the pictures won’t chip or scratch with use. I really liked my surprise! Did anyone get a different surprise in the June box??

June 2016 Peaches and Petals Total Value: ~$73.72
This box really packed an awesome value and contained an array of beach-themed items to get me ready for summer! My favorite item is the Starfish Project earrings. I am so glad that P&P included this outstanding company in the June box curation. As always, the box value far exceeds the monthly cost and is filled with items that I will use while on vacation (or around the house dreaming of a vacation).
